Ingredients
-
Wheat flour
-
Sugar
-
Baking powder
-
A pinch of salt
-
1 egg
-
Yogurt
-
Melted butter and a little extra for greasing the waffle iron
-
Water
-
Cashew butter
-
1 banana
Instructions
-
In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
-
In another bowl, whisk the egg with the yogurt, melted butter, and water.
-
Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ones and mix until the batter is smooth.
-
Preheat the waffle iron and grease it with a little butter.
-
Pour in the batter and bake the waffles for about 3–4 minutes, until golden brown.
-
If the cashew butter is thick, heat it up briefly so it is easier to drizzle.
-
Drizzle the warm waffles with cashew butter and serve with banana slices.
Tip
If your waffle iron is compact, this batter will yield about three and a half waffles. You can replace the banana with your favorite berries or other fruits.
